Daniel John Silva is a Spanish-American actor who grew up between Madrid, Barcelona, and Northern California.

He attended the Escuela Municipal de Arte Dramático in Madrid, where he brought to life plays such as ROMEO AND JULIET by Shakespeare and LIFE IS A DREAM by Calderón de la Barca.

Daniel was selected by Oscar Mayer for a 3-month national promotional tour, which took him to many regions and festivals across Spain, including La Tomatina in Buñol and the Running of the Bulls in Pamplona.

He later moved to Southern California, where he has worked in several films such as HEADS WILL ROLL, COYOTE, and HOTTEST MAN IN THE WORLD; TV episodes including MY CRAZY EX, TOSH.O, and numerous commercials for Spain, France, and the U.S. market.

He has performed in long-form improv shows at Madrid’s Teatro Arenal and at the famous Upright Citizens Brigade (UCB) in Los Angeles.

Daniel has trained with some of the top acting schools and teachers in the U.S., including Larry Moss, Jason Alexander, UCB, Stan Kirsch Studios, and Killian’s Workshop, among others. He was also a member of the Spanish improv group Impromundeando, performing shows throughout Los Angeles and online for audiences across Latin America.

When he’s not acting, Daniel enjoys playing electric or classical/Spanish guitar (depending on his mood), doing impressions, hiking, having fun with soccer and the NBA, and joining the occasional improv jam. When it comes down to it, there’s not much difference between running in front of a herd of charging bulls and jumping on stage before an eager crowd.
